Sunmi increased her weight to 47kg in order to accomplish her sexy image.

In a recent interview, Sunmi said, “During Wonder Girls days, I was as low as 40kg. I went back and forth from 40kg to 41kg, but in order to carry out sexy performances, I increased it to 47kg.”

She continued, “You may think this sounds cocky of me but I really don’t gain weight. All of my family is like that. So I had to eat a lot, every time I got bored. The dance puts a lot of attention on my legs so I tried hard to keep a sexy body line as well. I exercised too.”

She said, “My performance shows the process of a girl turning into a sexy woman.”

Sunmi will be releasing the music video of her solo debut song “24 Hours Is Not Enough” tomorrow and release the music on August 26.
